As we optical networking enthusiasts are just a bunch of guys and most of the time its difficult to find the information which are actually required to understand the technology and what exactly is happening in the field. its easy to find quite large number of papers published in net, but most of the time i felt they are easy for a person who knows stuff but not for beginners. i am gathering information i think would have helped me few years back as a fresher to understand more about this field.
